Mother/Daughter Bonding

Since I have been pregnant my mom and I have become a lot closer than we used to be. We have really bonded and we spend a whit ton of time together, but an experience we had a few days ago really takes the cake.

So my lovely son decided that he didn't want to feed off both sides and my left breast was really engorged. So I though I would try and pump with a hand pump that I got. Well I guess I never really looked at it. It is like a bicycle pump with a hose that attaches to the cup part. Well I needed to hold the cup on but I still had to have 2 hands to work the pump. I had to have my mom help me out. So here we are sitting on the couch laughing hysterically while I tried to pump. My mom has seen way too much of me lately, but I guess it's good that we are so comfortable.

In other news, I'm already wearing my prepregnant jeans. All of my clothes still fit and I think I may have even lost some of the fat that I previously had on my belly. I weigh as much as I did when I lost weight in the first trimester. So the 30lbs I ended up gaining are all gone. Overall I think I had a really amaziing pregnancy and birth. I couldn't have asked for a better experiance.

I also have a wonderful baby. He sleeps well, only cries when he really needs something, and he eats well. He already has some neck and head control and is really strong.
