THE PICTURE POST!

IT"S THE PICTURE POST!!!! (finally)

I am starting out with crafts and projects that I have been working on. They are part of the PunkRockDomestics 100 Craft Challenge in which you do 100 crafts in a year. I'm up to about 20 ish. These pictures are just my favorites. This baby sling is made out of a sarong and it will not kill my kid like the recalled ones will. You just shouldn't put a baby in a thing that looks like a duffel bag.
Just a box I made at work, but I really like the way it turned out.
Burp clothes made out of prefold diapers and old shirts.
Peanut's dragon bank that I made at work; I had to make a red and black one for Will because he loved Peanut's so much.
A mandala that I painted on four 6in tiles.
I painted this vase for the baby shower.
Yes, the middle onesie really does say "Thug Life" I couldn't help myself.
Nursing pads made out of flannel and prefolds.
These are cloth wipes made out of an old flannel nightgown. Actually I just cut them and then my mom did the surging around the edges.
I made these wet bags all by myself and I am damn proud. They are PUL inside and then the big one has canvas outside and the small one is an old t-shirt. PUL is really hard to sew because it sticks to the foot and the feed dogs, but I go them both done. The big one is for the diaper pail and the small one is for the diaper bag.
This is a baby cocoon that I made using one of those hoops that makes knitted stuff. It took about 6 hours start to finish.

Now it is time for Peanut's room.
This is the Pack n' Play we got instead of a crib since I am planning on co-sleeping with the baby most of the time. This will be great for camping too.
The bouncy seat matches the Pack n' Play. You can also see the bookshelf on the left and part of the toy box on the right.
Just a dresser and changing station.
My mom and I repainted this day bed, it used to be off white, now it's black. The quilt my mom made is in the left hand corner. This is the quilt. The fabric is called "The Bravest Dragon" and there is a cloth story book that goes with it too. My mom worked her ass off on this thing and I think she did an amazing job.
This is a close up of the dragon. He is so damn cute.
Now for a bit of randomness.
This is my dog, Abby.
This is her brother Jack. They are brother and sister and they are amazing.
And this is my cat, Spookey. His favorite activity now is laying across my boobs and belly, until Peanut kicks, then he bitches at me about it. He hasn't left me alone since I got pregnant. I can't even shower without him in the bathroom.

This last picture is me. I realized that I have never posted a picture of me on my blog, so here it is. I won't be posting any belly pictures until Peanut is out. I'm not sure why, but something about people seeing my belly right now upsets me just about as much as people touching it.

It's sideways because I was laying on someones lap at one of my best friends choir competitions. There were like 6 of us all laying there.
That's really all I have for now. I promise I won't be so lazy about posting picture anymore. That also means I have to be less lazy about taking pictures.
Love you all!
